Situated approximately six hours north of Perth, and three hours inland of Geraldton, Mount Magnet is a colourful and charismatic town. Dealing predominantly in mining and pastoral industries, the town welcomes people from all walks of life.

“Mount Magnet is a well-established town with a colourful history, local characters and many modern services. The Mount Magnet Township has a population of approximately 450 people.
